Dr. Allardyce Opened Sabine Veterinary Hospital in Many, Louisiana in 1975 to Serve Sabine Parish and Surrounding Areas

In April of 1975, we opened the first licensed and full service veterinary hospital in Sabine Parish.  Prior to that services were only available through veterinarians from surrounding parishes.

It has been our pleasure to provide the health needs of farm and companion animals of Sabine Parish and surrounding areas for the last 34 plus years.   For the first 29 years Sabine Veterinary Hospital was located at 105 Fisher Road.  Now we are at 1674 Natchitoches Hwy. across from Many High School.

Dr. Allardyce received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Texas A&M University in 1973 and then completed a 15 month Food Animal Internship at Purdue University in Indiana.  After working for a veterinary hospital in Newellton, Louisiana, he moved to Many and opened Sabine Veterinary Hospital in April of 1975.

Today Sabine Veterinary Hospital is a full service practice large enough to meet your needs yet small enough to know you.  Give us a call if we can be of service to you.

Veterinary Mission to Honduras

For the last 3 years, Sabine Veterinary Hospital has provided one or two weeks of veterinary mission services to the people in small, rural villages of Honduras. This has been through the DeRidder and Sabine Teams of Baptist Medical and Dental Missions International of Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Each trip we vaccinate, deworm, give a vitamin injection, and fly/lice spray the villagers’ cattle and horses. At the same time, we take the opportunity to share the good news of Jesus Christ with these people. Thank you for allowing us the time to be a part of this wonderful ministry.

After Hours Emergencies

We provide after hours emergency service as much as possible for our clients. Being a single veterinarian practice, it is not possible to be available 24 hours a day seven days a week. My home phone number is 318-256-9323. Please only call for true emergencies.

If you have an after hours emergency and cannot reach me nor any other local veterinarian, I suggest that you call the Crossroads Animal Emergency Clinic in Alexandria at 318-427-1292.
